Hijack and redesign.

Cardon Copy, and no I didn’t misspell Cardon, is the on-going personal project of graphic designer Cardon Webb. It involves hijacking street fliers posted around the city and redesigning them. Good ideas are inexpensive, just time consuming.

Hello, Helvetica.

One of my professors once said, Helvetica is used right only when it becomes invisible. Experimental Jetset, a small, independent graphic design studio based in Amsterdam looking to turn language into objects. There is only love for Helvetica found in this studio.

Red Velvet heaven.

Two Little Red Hens. A good friend of mine recently introduced me to this incredible bakery in New York. While I haven’t had the time to visit the shop in person, I have had the privilege of enjoying the delicious-ness that is their Red Velvet cupcake. Sweet, moist, and simply perfect.

Banana me.

(Via Slow Like Honey) I would say Banana Bread is one of my top, if not bordering on my favorite, bread of all time. There’s something innately homemade about it no matter where you buy it from. But why buy when you can eat it fresh from you own oven? The best part of it all: bananas are available pretty much all year round. This is a recipe I will be trying oh so very soon, won’t you try it with me?
